ETAP Spark Milan 2026 ETAP Spark Milan 2026 ETAP Spark Milan 2026

ETLAB researchers and collaborators participated in ETAP Spark Milan 2026, held on 23–24 September 2026, bringing together professionals, engineers, researchers and industry experts for two days dedicated to innovation, technical discussion, knowledge sharing and networking within the ETAP community.

The event provided an opportunity to explore real-world applications, engineering challenges and technological developments in the field of electrical power systems. The programme featured technical presentations and case studies, creating a valuable environment for exchanging experiences and discussing the evolving needs of modern electrical networks and industrial systems.

ETAP Spark Milan 2026 offered a valuable meeting point between research, engineering practice and industry, highlighting the importance of sharing technical expertise and real-world experience in addressing the challenges of modern electrical systems.

A particularly valuable aspect of the event was the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with our partners and colleagues from Tecnimont / MAIRE and DBA, who were also present in Milan. Their participation provided an opportunity to strengthen professional connections and discuss common interests and challenges across academia, engineering and industry.

The discussions throughout the event covered a broad range of topics related to the analysis, design, operation and digitalisation of electrical systems, reflecting the increasingly important role of advanced engineering tools in supporting the energy transition and the development of more reliable, efficient and sustainable power systems.

The event also reinforced the value of collaboration between universities, research laboratories and industry, creating opportunities for knowledge exchange, professional networking and the development of future collaborative activities.

Participation in ETAP Spark Milan 2026 represented a valuable opportunity for ETLAB to engage with the wider engineering and industrial community, learn from practical experiences and share perspectives on the future of electrical power systems. Events such as this contribute to strengthening the connection between academic research and real-world engineering applications.

ETLAB would like to thank the ETAP and SELECTY teams for the organisation of the event and all the presenters, participants, partners and colleagues who contributed to these two days of discussion and knowledge sharing. We are particularly pleased to have shared the event with our colleagues from Tecnimont  MAIRE and DBA and look forward to continuing these exchanges in future initiatives.

ETAP Spark Milan 2026 further highlighted the importance of collaboration, innovation and knowledge sharing in the continuous development of modern electrical and energy systems.
