Biography
Executive PhD Student – Tecnimont S.p.A.
She received her B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Sapienza University of Rome, Italy. Her academic background focused on power systems, transmission networks, and electrical infrastructure design, with research activities addressing the upgrading of high-voltage transmission systems and the design of electrical transmission networks.
She is currently an Executive PhD Student in Electrical Engineering at the University of Pavia in collaboration with Tecnimont S.p.A. Her research focuses on hydrogen production technologies and the integration of electrolyzers into industrial power systems, with particular attention to the planning and operation of electrical distribution networks for modern industrial plants.
Her research interests include power system stability, RMS and EMT analyses, industrial power systems, electrical distribution network design, renewable energy integration, and hydrogen-based energy solutions. Her work investigates the impact of emerging electrolyzer technologies on industrial electrical networks, supporting the development of reliable and efficient power systems for the energy transition.
Alongside her research activities, she works as an Electrical Network Studies & Methodologies Specialist at Tecnimont, where she is involved in power system studies and methodologies for large-scale industrial projects. Prior to joining Tecnimont, she gained professional experience at Nema S.r.l., TMC Transformers, and Hitachi. Since 2019, she has been part of the Electrical Engineering Department at Tecnimont in Milan, contributing to the design and analysis of electrical systems for complex industrial infrastructures.
