Biography
Academic PhD student
He obtained his first Ph.D. in Electrical Networks from the University of El Oued, Algeria, with a dissertation focused on enhancing electrical grid stability through the integration of renewable energy sources. He also holds both M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees in Electrical Networks and Renewable Energy from Mohamed Khider University, Algeria.
He is currently seeking a second PhD in Electrical Engineering at the University of Pavia, where his work focuses on renewable energy integration, smart grids, distributed generation, and optimization methodologies for modern electrical distribution systems. His research aims to support the development of resilient, efficient, and sustainable power networks capable of addressing the challenges of the energy transition.
His research interests include power system stability and control, distributed energy resources, smart grid technologies, optimization techniques, and the techno-economic assessment of renewable energy systems. Particular attention is devoted to improving the efficiency, reliability, and sustainability of modern electrical distribution networks through advanced analytical and optimization approaches.
Throughout his academic career, he has been involved in several international research collaborations and teaching activities, including research projects with the University of Pavia and Riga Technical University. His experience also includes teaching and laboratory activities in the fields of artificial intelligence applications, power quality, and electrical engineering, contributing to the training of future engineers and researchers.
